Raising The Bar & Shinning…

A week or so ago I attended a local “Business/Social Media” awards event. I went to go check it out and to see if a friend of mine was going to win an award…

Well, unfortunately I left disgusted and motivated all at the same time…

I was disgusted by the lack of professionalism that was shown by some of the speakers and even the people that put the event on. Now, I am not trying to be judgmental, but there is some common sense involved here. There are just some things you shouldn’t be doing or saying at a business event. Anyways, I left very motivated because I knew it was time to raise the bar! In EVERYTHING here at iBoost and everything else I have my hand in.

Now, I know not everyone is going to agree with me and that’s okay….

But from what I have seen, many professionals and entrepreneurs have dropped the ball and have lowered their standards. Most likely this has happened because they are just following the lead of everyone else.

Once again, I don’t say this to be disrespectful or judgmental… I say this to encourage you to don’t settle for what most are settling for, raise the bar in your Industry!

I believe it’s important to grow your business and your brand with integrity and shine to the world that you are doing it right.

So Here Is The Question…

What is an area in your Industry that disgusts you? Or an area that you would like to see changed? If you can pinpoint what you don’t like about your Industry, you can then make sure you never conform to that thing. In fact, you can do the opposite and show the world a better way to do what you do. Make sense?

The main point is, know what your message is and then be that! If you don’t define your message, you will never really have a solid brand. When you don’t have a solid brand, you will not do business with the right people and will even allow others to dictate your brand to you!

If this happens, you will have no joy in what you do. Don’t let that happen!
