Is Social Media A Fad Or Something You Should Be Using?

by Paul Cooley on October 13, 2010 · 3 comments

If you are not using Social Media as a part of establishing a solid brand and getting more exposure, you need to! Traditional ways of getting exposure is good, but is slowly dying down. It’s very important to stay up to date on what’s working NOW.

Some may even say Social Media is a fad…. Do you think that is true? Check out this video and let me know…

You must admit, those are some crazy statistics! So with all those people on these Social Sites, will they find your brand on there? Or will you stick with the traditional ways of doing things??

When people are spending more time online than watching TV on the TV, doesn’t it make sense to go to those avenues to get more exposure?
Let me know what you think! :)

    Hello, Paul Cooley.

Last month our company launched Global Gospel Beacon, an Internet radio facility for Christian broadcasters. Although no promotions or marketing have been yet, we were happily surprised to find out people going to the site.

We will be doing Facebook and Twitter, plus some radio promos on our two stations in St. Louis. These two stations have streaming audio, so this could help in our exposure to the public.

Please recommend other methods to promote this new Internet Christian radio facility.

    Thank you, Paul Cooley.

    Hi Phil,

I think using Twitter and a Facebook Fan Page is a great idea! Very smart…

Have you thought about implementing video marketing? Youtube and video hosting sites like that can be a great way to get more exposure.

It all really depends on where you are trying to direct exposure to… a web site, landing page, etc. Once that is decided, having a good system in place that will get you more exposure and build a “tribe” is a great way to go.

I hope that helps Phil. I am offering a free 30 minute consultation. So if that is of interest, please let me know.

Have a great day and God bless! :)
